CHILDREN

SAY

A child is not a number. Hear directly from children about the challenges they face.

The government should come up with strict laws to discourage teachers who like punching and pinching children. The children must be told that if their rights are violated, they must report to the authorities who must not be involved in corruption.

From my physical to my mental health, everything is ruined. It’s so hard to concentrate on such a boring and repetitive task for hours and hours and it makes me very upset and depressed… I don’t even think about the hopes I had to become a doctor. All I think about now is my uncertain future. I really have no idea what tomorrow will bring. But for sure, I know my future won’t be as good as it could have been if I was still attending school.

I don't like working at the market because it damages my education; going to the market tires me out. When I get home, I can't study because I'm too tired.

    Sustainable
    Development Goals

In 2015, leaders from every country in the world agreed to 17 goals to create a better future for all people, everywhere, by 2030. The Sustainable Development Goals promised that no one will be left behind by progress. The Child Atlas helps us to monitor our progress towards these essential goals for children across the globe.
